      Listing of accounts as posted to the original J. & E. Stevens Company monthly summary ledger pages.    
      Accounts Receivable would be receipts for merchandise sold after discounts for payment within terms.
     Other than one or two even dollar withdrawals charged to “a/c 11” each month, there is nothing in the ledger to show what amounts expensed for Account #11 were for. It might be assumed that this was disbursement for management salary similar to the more detailed listings in earlier ledgers which included the employee names along with payment amounts that were also listed as payments from the “Expense Account”.
