Fig. 5 — HOME BANK. Patented June 25, 1872, July 16, 1872, and July 30, 1872 by D. A. Stiles, Middletown, Connecticut, inventor. Marked Home Bank on front. Constructed of cast-iron parts. Operation: when lever is pulled door opens on turntable principle, disclosing cashier at counter. Tip lever to reset. This bank is fairly rare; it occurs in several variants. It was also manufactured as a still bank. The June 25 and July 30 patents are design patents.
